Actor Mike Rady picks up custom Bonzer

Mike Rady, star of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 1 & 2, picked up his new custom bonzer between shooting for his new role on Melrose Place. JP and Mike custom designed the outline and bottom contours, our friend Wyatt did an amazing glass job with resin color, custom pins by Andrea. He waxed her up and took her surfing at glassy, head high Grandview for her maiden voyage. Enjoy her, Mike.

Future Fins and HSD Surfboards demo day

We had a huge surfboard demo with all the current HSD surfboard models and Future Fins on tap. Everyone was able to try out all the different shapes with all kinds of different fins. Look for the next demo in the next month or so!

Surfboard and Fin Demo - COME ON DOWN!!!

Saturday, May 30 kick off summer with a board and fin demo with HSD and Futures. Stop by 310 Leonard Ave to test out boards or bring your favorite HSD and try out different fin set-ups. A representative from Futures fins will be down to talk about fin design and let you try before you buy. We'll be here from 8 am til the early afternoon, we will also have some Clif bars to energize you so you can surf all day!

Recycling Surfboard Scraps?

That's right, HSD has teamed up with ReRip.com to turn the leftovers from the shaping process into building materials! ReRip came by the shaping bay this week and picked up 7 hugs bags of "bones" and stuffed them in the now packed Uhaul. We will keep you posted, the scraps are scheduled to be used in a building in LA, as I get photos I will post them. HSD keeping the world green!
